Introduction

Trivial Pursuit is a popular board game that tests your knowledge of trivia. The game is played by two to six players, and the goal is to collect all six wedges by answering questions correctly. The first player to collect all six wedges wins the game.

How to Play Trivial Pursuit Step by Step

1. Set Up the Game Board:

Place the game board in the center of the playing area and arrange the six wedge-shaped sections, called Knowledge Pie pieces, around the center. Each section represents a different category: Geography, Entertainment, History, Arts & Literature, Science & Nature, and Sports & Leisure.

2. Choose Your Playing Pieces:

Each player chooses a playing piece and places it in the center of the board. The youngest player goes first, followed by the player to their left.

3. Roll the Dice:

On your turn, roll both dice and move your playing piece clockwise around the board, counting the spaces you move. If you land on a space with a wedge-shaped icon, you must answer a question in the corresponding category.

4. Select a Category:

When you land on a space with a wedge-shaped icon, choose a category from the available wedges. The person to your left will read you a question from the selected category.

5. Answer the Question:

You have 30 seconds to answer the question. If you answer correctly, you win the wedge for that category and place it on your playing piece. If you answer incorrectly, the question passes to the next player in clockwise order.

6. Complete a Pie:

When you collect all six wedges in a category, you complete a pie. Place the wedges on the corresponding pie space on the board and move your playing piece to the center of the board.

  1. Win the Game: The first player to complete all six pies wins the game.
